The Complete Empath Toolkit Review

Hi everyone! It’s Laura with some important information for you!

Earlier this week, I decided to write a personal unabridged review of what I really thought about The Complete Empath Toolkit by Dr. Michael Smith. So here it is.

Please keep in mind this is my opinion about the product. If you are looking for the book itself, you can click here.

If you are wondering why I am writing this review, it is because I could not find out anything about The Complete Empath Toolkit when I was considering purchasing it. After purchasing the product and getting to know it, I felt it would help others to know more about the product. This way you can make a better decision rather than going in blindly like I did.

A word of caution! I have resolved myself to being completely impartial. This means I will tell all of the things I like about the product as well as the things I do not like about the product. If you are only wanting to hear sunshine and roses, this is not the review for you. If you are ready to read an honest opinion with all of the good and bad points, read on!

The first thing I noticed about The Complete Empath Toolkit that I liked was that I was getting way more than just the book. This greatly increased the value for me. This is because there is no way I would have paid the asking price for just one book about empaths! After all, I had no information to go on. For all I knew I would be getting a bunch of information about metaphysical nonsense which I had no interest in. Getting the free material along with it made me feel as if I was able to hedge my bets that at least something in the package would be useful.

Even though the book was over 230 pages long, I found that it was written well and not difficult to get through. There are 44 techniques described in the book that are used to open up your personal energy, none of which I found confusing to follow. In fact, while reading the book, it feels as if Dr. Smith just takes you by the hand and shows you step-by-step how to harness the power of your emotions and better manage your personal energy.

The thing that I did not like about The Complete Empath Toolkit was the fact that like so many other empath books, it talked about sexual ideas. Personally, I did not buy a book about how to control my empathetic feelings just to read about how men can have multiple orgasms. I bought the toolkit so I could learn to be more of a conscious empath. Maybe someone else will find that section useful, but I didn’t really care for it that much.

Other things that I did find useful about the book was the empath training which it detailed out. This was clear and concise information about how someone who is a born empath can deal with such normal things as handling money. When people are thinking about becoming an empath, this is not something they think about. I have dealt with crazy mixed feelings every time money touches my skin all my life. With the help of the book, I was able to get past this and be able to go to the store without having to wear gloves.

The other part that I liked about The Complete Empath Toolkit is it does not treat empaths like they are psychics. The book was written in the true empath definition. I did not feel as if I was reading a book which was written for someone else and was just remarketed for me.

All in all, I feel as if The Complete Empath Toolkit is a great book for all empaths looking to gain better control over their lives. I believe it will help you to understand your abilities a little bit better. Further I believe it is a good way to be able to find the control you need in order to lead a more active lifestyle. I was starting to feel confined because of my empathetic abilities, but now I am able to go anywhere I want to without having to worry about the emotions I will encounter along the way.

What Is An Empath?

An Empath is a person who can psychically tune in to the emotional experience of a person, place or animal. In the paranormal and in some works of science fiction and fantasy, highly developed empathy is a psychic ability to sense the emotions of others and often highly aware of the health and state of mind of their loved ones, no matter how physically near or far away the individuals may be. It can be challenging for Empaths to function healthily in society if they are unaware that they have this sensitivity and often opt to be alone.

What Is An EmpathWhat is an Empath born to do? Most empaths are often in the dark about their innate gifts but the more developed ones are sometimes called in by the police to help track a murderous pedophile or other heinous criminal because they are able to take on the tortured emotions of the assailant. Utilizing Clairempathy, a type of telepathy to sense or feel within one’s self, the attitude, emotion or ailment of another person or entity.

They are sensitive to the visible as well as the invisible and pick up on body language, tone of voice, body movements, the words people choose when they speak, the words they avoid, the logic they use; and the hidden things that only an empath can sense inside another person. It is not uncommon for an Empath to “freak out” for no apparent reason, only to discover later that a friend or family member went through some sort of trauma at that exact moment. So essentially an empath is someone whose feeling sensory is extraordinarily heightened, meaning they receive the majority of their psychic input from what they feel.

Since they’re being assaulted constantly by emotions which do not originate internally, they can’t figure out why they feel the way that they do, and therefore can’t address the core issues. Since empathy isn’t something you can really ditch it’s sometimes difficult to sort out what the Empath truly feels in a given situation or what they are taking on from someone else. This can prove to be very confusing!

Empath ConfusionEmotions that create powers that have been known to be God like in nature. Emotions that build on inside only to be shared with those around you. Emotional empaths are so sensitive that they can absorb the negative emotions of others in their body, and actually take it on. So when an empath is around somebody who is anxious, they can actually absorb that energy into their body, when it isn’t even their own anxiety.

Empaths are born, and they’re born unskilled and are generally very understanding of others and their positions, and often times will ask questions rather than make snap judgments, or intuitively seem to ‘know’ there is more to a story than what meets the eye. They are sensitive to TV, videos, movies, news and broadcasts. Violence or emotional dramas depicting shocking scenes of physical or emotional pain inflicted on adults, children or animals can bring an empath easily to tears.

What is an Empath capable of doing? Empaths are people who don’t “read” the future, or predict it … they “read” people, and their energy although sometimes it depends on the person being read, too. They’re often problem solvers, thinkers, and studier’s of many things. As far as empaths are concerned, where a problem is, so too is the answer.

They are the psychic sponges of the world, soaking up all the psychic and emotional static that other people give off. Being an Empath is one of the most common and most challenging of all the psychic gifts.

So as you can see being am Empath can be both a blessing…and a curse!

If you’re interested in learning more about empathic sensitivity and other emotionally intuitive abilities, I recommend reading the Complete Empath Toolkit.
